Marketing Research on the Current State and Prospects of Ukraine’s Agro-Industrial Complex
The war has affected everyone and has disrupted absolutely all logistical and operational processes of the agricultural sector, especially in regions where active combat is taking place. For one industry representative (who also suffered from the war), experts at AGRO Marketing Agency have compiled a report that allows them to find promising directions and channels for product sales and mitigate certain risks.
The research reflects the current state of Ukraine's agricultural market and allows the client to make informed and potentially beneficial decisions.

How We Did It
We used our own research algorithms and a large amount of statistical data. We considered sources of information such as:
- 1
Production dynamics of crops and processed products, their regional distribution, main trends in foreign trade of crops and processed products, population size and regional distribution in Ukraine, livestock population size and regional distribution of agricultural animals, as well as key indicators of supply and distribution balances of crops and processed products, based on data from the State Statistics Service of Ukraine.
- 2
Analysis of indicators of foreign trade in agricultural crops and processed products based on data from the State Customs Service of Ukraine.
- 3
Indicators of migration processes in Ukraine during the war period, taken according to the Report on Internal Displacement in Ukraine. Survey of the general population. Round 12 as of January 23, 2023, compiled by IOM Migration (UN).
- 4
Dynamics of internal regional prices for crops and processed products based on monitoring results from APK-Inform agency.
- 5
Statistical data on world trade in deep-processed grain products based on data from the global service Trade Map (International Trade Center).
And not only these. Overall, the research went beyond the scope of open sources and covered the market picture in a broader perspective.
Results
In the end, the client received a report with key indicators in the form of a presentation in .pptx and .pdf formats, as well as Excel tables with statistical data in interactive format.
Additionally, they were able to make decisions regarding the further development of the brand and focus on several business vectors.
